Zigbee 3.0, the latest wireless communication standard for smart homes, simplifies installation and commissioning process. Zigbee 3.0 enables bi-directional communication in a mesh topology for their S-Line indoor smart shades.

Follow these 4 guidelines to optimize TaHoma Gateway placement for your Zigbee 3.0 network:
- Only one TaHoma is necessary for the control of your whole home
- All Zigbee-connected devices need to remain within reach for the best performance
- For every 6 Zigbee Shades, add a Router Plug into a powered 120V outlet
- Add remotes where you see fit and integrate the TaHoma to your home automation system
