WattBox WB-700-IPV-12 Program

This program has been developed for dealers who have purchased WB-700-IPV-12 units that may experience a specific power loss issue. The potential for this issue is isolated to only WattBox WB-700-IPV-12 units purchased before April 2019. Units purchased after April 2019 utilize a different design and are not impacted by this issue. We have proactively communicated to all dealers who are potentially affected.

Program Elements

One-time $130 CAD product credit for each affected unit returned to Staub Electronics prior to December 19, 2019.

Advanced replacements available when returning affected units to Staub Electronics going forward. Once affected units are received and processed, a $130 CAD product credit will be applied to your account.

There is no requirement for you to act now. If you choose to replace and return any affected WB-700-IPV-12 units within their 5-year warranty, we will support you.

To verify if any of your units are affected, please email the MAC address to techsupport@staub.ca. Format should be D4:6A:91:XX:XX:XX.

To find the MAC address of a unit, you can:

  1. Go into OvrC and navigate to a customer’s list of devices. The MAC address is formatted as D4:6A:91:XX:XX:XX and can be found in the Manufacturer column.
  2. Look at the black and white label on the back of the physical unit to find the MAC address. For more information, access the complete FAQs here.
